Heart's End or bust for Kevin Closs

Northern Ontario singer/songwriter Kevin Closs is hitting the road in support of his new CD, Heart's End.  The tour kicks off in Sudbury on May 9 with stops in Levack, Sault Ste. Marie, Marathon, Rossport, Thunder Bay, and Dryden.

Northern Ontario singer/songwriter Kevin Closs is hitting the road in support of his new CD, Heart's End.  The tour kicks off in Sudbury on May 9 with stops in Levack, Sault Ste. Marie, Marathon, Rossport, Thunder Bay, and Dryden.

Closs will play two shows in Sudbury at the Ostara Studio at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. On May 10, he will perform in Levack at St. John's United Church at 7 p.m.

Raised on Manitoulin, Closs has made his home in Onaping Falls since 1990, where he runs Tower Bay Records.  His latest CD is a return to his folk roots. The news release said the musical arrangements are simple and sparse, focusing on Closs' sparkling guitar style and clear tenor voice.

Closs was a winner of the Jackie Washington Award  aat athe 2002 Northern Lights Festival Boreal.
