Rainbow routes, the Sudbury Heart Health Coalition, and the Sudbury & District Health Unit are hosting the Great Trail Event on Sunday, June 8.

This fun family event, taking place in the town of Capreol, includes a stroll along the scenic Capreol Waking Trail or a guided History Hike through the historic town of Capreol. The Northern Ontario Railroad Museum will also be open to the public.

The public is invited to join in the celebration of local trails in the community while enjoying an afternoon of outdoor activity. Refreshments will also be available.

Registration for the event is free and starts at 12:45 p.m. at the Capreol Ski Chalet. The Great Trail event will run from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
