Former Sudbury woman and fashion designer Cindy Renee Mathieu received 47.98 per cent of the vote from citizens in an online contest to choose the gown which will be worn by ET Canada host Cheryl Hickey at the Oscars Feb. 22.
It has not yet been officially announced that 33-year-old Mathieu won the contest. The woman, who owns her own fashion design business called Sodaliscious, attended Sudbury Secondary School and then went onto Ryerson University and the Academy of Fashion Design in Toronto.
