Hygienist opens dental clinic in Val Caron

Registered dental hygienist Nathalie Bertrand recently opened the Valley East Dental Hygiene Clinic, at Norm’s Plaza in Val Caron.

Bertrand, who has been a hygienist for 20 years, had dreams of being her own boss. She left her 16-year job working for a local dentist to open up the clinic. Services include dental cleanings, teeth whitening, customized athletic mouth guards and tooth jewelry.

Patients who need other dental care are referred to a dentist. Clients who have dental benefits are not required to pay for services up front. The clinic offers bilingual services.
