Theatre Cambrian has hired the group to perform a one-night show of their hit sketch comedy show Economy of Errors.

In the show, The Second City pokes fun at sub-prime blues.

Your house is worth a pile of sticks, your RRSP became grocery money, and your government has just figured out there is a problem. At least your credit card is being paid off now that you work at Dairy Queen.

Economy of Errors is a sketch comedy show featuring Canadian comedy actors performing the scenes and songs from Second City's history, and satire taken from current headlines.

The group is known for improvised comedy and the show will include an interactive improvisation portion involving audience members.

The Second City operates resident theatres in Chicago and Toronto, and has launched the careers of thousands of comic performers in its 50 year history, including current comedians Steve Carell, Tina Fey and Stephen Colbert. They have had a hand in launching the careers of comic legends Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Bill Murray, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Short and John Candy.

Tickets are $50 and include a catered meal.

To book tickets, phone 524-7317, or visit Record on Wheels downtown.
