The United Way is holding their sixth annual Be a Goddess Ladies Charity Auction and Dinner Thursday, April 30 at the Radisson Hotel.
Last year, more than 350 women and more than $30,000 was raised for women's programs and services funded by United Way.
The evening features services including massage, hair dos, manicures, mini golf lessons, advice about investments and a chance to speak with a personal trainer.
Local men in uniform will be serving dinner. Everyone will have a chance to win some great prizes. This year, women are invited to submit a one page entry along with a five dollar donation, explaining why they or someone they know deserves to win a makeover.
Three lucky women will be chosen. The unveiling of the winners will take place at the Be a Goddess event. Tickets are $60. Doors open at 4 p.m. For more information phone Emily Mackwood at 560-3330, ext. 218.
