Lynne Hanson’s appearance April 6 as part of The Motley Kitchen’s Dinner & a Show series comes at an exciting time in the musician's career.

It’s the night before the official release of her fifth album, Uneven Ground, produced by Winnipeg’s Scott Nolan. Her last release, River of Sand, was produced in 2014 by Juno winner Lynn Miles.

The new album is brimming over with imagery and cleverly-penned lyrics, and breaks new ground as it honours the traditions of rock, roots, blues and country.

She will perform as a trio with The Good Intentions, joined by Jason Fryer on electric guitar and Peter Klaassen on bass.

Dinner and entertainment combined is $50 including HST. Show-only seats are $20 each. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the buffet dinner served at 6:30 p.m. and the show approximately from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Reserve ASAP to assure good seats and dinner by phone at 705-222-6685.

The Motley Kitchen presents the series in collaboration with Northern Lights Festival Boréal.
