Monster trucks will return to the Sudbury Arena May 29 at 7 p.m. for Monster Spectacular.
Tickets are on sale for the event at the Sudbury Arena Box Office, which is available in person, by phone at 671-3000 or at www.city.greatersudbury.on.ca .
Monster trucks are huge 4x4s that destroy everything in their way. They weigh 10,000 pounds, are 12 feet high, 12 feet wide and have a 2,000 horsepower engine.
Drivers will compete in the long jump competition as well as in freestyle competition with a special track where cars and vans are ready to be destroyed. All of this will occur on a new race track with car stacks that have been specifically designed for this event.
