Carrefour francophone’s new child-care centre called La scène des tout-petits is located at École Hélène Gravel school, 1412 Stephen St.
This is Carrefour francophone’s eighth child-care centre in Greater Sudbury. The children are currently involved in a series of activities and, with the expertise of several local personalities, they are learning to better understand and appreciate the season of life’s renewal. The kids are observing frog eggs as they hatch and tadpoles as they grow.
The tadpoles will be introduced to their natural habitat in 70 days. Frog eggs and educational support were provided by David Lesbarrères, professor of biology, at Laurentian University.
