The Vermillion Lake Neighbourhood Association is hosting an outdoor movie event Aug. 3 between 9 and 11 p.m. at the Vermillion Lake Recreation Park, located in Chelmsford.
A giant inflatable movie screen, projector and sound system will be set up at the park. Families can enjoy all the things they love about movies - popcorn, a great flick, hanging out with friends - plus the enjoyment of sitting in the beautiful surroundings of Vermillion Lake on a summer night.
The four finalists of our gaming competition will have the chance to duke it out on a gaming system hooked up to the large inflatable screen before the movie on Sunday night.
If it rains, the movie will be held next door at 1927 (Vermillion Lake Camping Park) in a huge gazebo. The event is free, but organizers would appreciate a donation of $5 per person. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.
