Photo - Stopping to smell the flowers

Sudbury resident Wayne Baker caught a picture of this Clear Wing Hummingbird Moth, as it stopped for a bite to eat on the lilac blooms at his family’s cottage on the Lost Channel during the Victoria Day weekend.

“The lilac blooming period is in full swing, and as it does every year, it attracts interesting species,” he wrote in a letter to Northern Life.
