Photo - Trailing away

 Recently local photographer Terry Hayes and his family took in the new Robinson Trail, which is part of the Rainbow Routes Trails.

“It’s a great hike for little ones,” he wrote in an e-mail to Northern Life. “(There are) lots of birds to see, including ducks, Canada geese, swans and a curious looking long-beaked shore-bird I’ve yet to identify. They did a fantastic job on the construction (of the trail). Keep your eyes peeled for the treehouse hidden in the woods. It was a cloudy day which gave it an eerie presence.”
