Piano benefit concert to raise money for hospice

Jennifer Grooms, marketing co-ordinator with Vale Inco Hospice, will play guitar at the Angelic Piano Benefit Concert and CD release, Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. at Ste. Anne des Pins Parish on Beech Street. The event will raise funds for the hospice and will promote a new CD written by Monique Boyer.

The CD is made up of Boyer’s favourite piano pieces she played to help her cope with her grief after her mother, Paulette Boyer, passed away at the hospice in January, 2009. Boyer will perform songs from the CD, entitled Toujours Dans Mon Coeur (Always In My Heart).

Admission to the event is $10. Admission can be deducted from the purchase of the CD, which is $20.
