UPDATE - One hundred and eighty three heart-shaped pizzas were served at Boston Pizza on Valentine's Day, raising a total of $1,721 for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. For every pizza and paper heart sold, one dollar was donated to the cause.
Eric Charette, Boston Pizza general manager, and Kayla Blais, server, are getting ready for Valentine's Day this Saturday. Boston Pizza has been helping the Heart & Stroke Foundation for the last 17 years by selling heart shaped pizzas.
Part of the sales from these pizzas go towards the charity. Individual, small and medium sizes will be available for take-out, delivery or dine-in. Paper hearts are also being sold for a dollar to help the cause.
Names of loved ones can be written on them and posted on the wall. For more information phone 524-8886.
