(NC) — The challenge of any good host is finding recipes that all their guests will love. Whether hosting a sports-themed get-together or an all-girls fête, the trick is to serve a versatile and tasty dish that can be enjoyed several ways.
Chicken skewers are an easy-to-prepare party hit because they are great on their own as finger food or can easily become the main feature in a crowd-pleasing sandwich.

8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 20 minutes
Pita bread, shredded lettuce, diced tomato and slivered onion for garnishing
Preparation instructions:
Mix the chicken, cilantro, chili sauce, bread crumbs, egg and soya sauce until well-combined.

Roast skewers on a foil-lined baking sheet in a 500°F oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
Serve with additional chili sauce for dipping or serve in warmed pita bread garnished with shredded lettuce, diced tomato and slivered onion.
