Staff and students from the Sudbury District Catholic School Board took part in a board-wide mass and celebration at the Sudbury Arena Thursday, May 27.
More than 6,000 students, from Grade 3 to 12, took part in a service with Bishop Jean-Louis Plouffe and Auxiliary Bishop Noel Simard. The theme of the event was rejoicing in hope.
The event featured the Sudbury Catholic Rock Band Heroes and local aboriginal singer and teacher Verna Hardwick.
