Renowned college choir to present Sudbury concert

The Hope College Chapel Choir from Holland Michigan will present a concert on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 7:30 pm in the Church of the Epiphany, 85 Larch Street, Sudbury.  The concert will include selections from the North American choral tradition including spirituals, as well as music of Dutch and Flemish composers.  Admission is free, but donations supporting the tour costs can be made following the concert.  For further information phone 522-4747.

The choir, led by former Huntington University faculty member Brad Richmond, has an 80-year tradition of excellence and has toured Europe, the United States and Canada numerous times.  Its Christmas Vespers program is featured annually on U.S.-wide radio and televison broadcasts.  The choir has recorded frequently and recent CDs will be available at the concert. 

Dr. Richmond is director of the Choral Activities program and a professor in the Department of Music at Hope College.
