The Sudbury Student Services Consortium is proud to present its First Time Rider Program aimed at children taking the school bus for the very first time.

Last year's First Time Rider program with Buster the Bus - a robotized miniature school bus - was such a success that Intertrain Inc., in collaboration with the Consortium, decided to offer it again this year.

As well as Buster, who interactively delivers his message, other props are also used to create imaginary bus danger zones and bus stops. All rules are explained and reviewed. Children are then given the opportunity to try their new found knowledge with a real school bus ride.

The session ends with refreshments provided by McDonald's restaurants, an accomplishment certificate and a loot bag. This event takes place at Collège Boréal, at 21 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury.

English sessions:
Saturday, Aug. 16 at 9, 10, & 11 a.m. and 1,2 & 3 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 22 at 9, 10, & 11 a.m. and 1, 2, 3 & 6 p.m.

French sessions are offered on Aug. 15 and 23. To register call 521-1234 or online at www.businfo.ca
