Science North is seeking applications from vendors
interested in offering the following services at the Science
North site on Canada Day (July 1, 2008):
- Entertainment services and product vendors geared to a
community-based family audience;
- Vendors of unique products or services not already available
on-site or offered by Science North.
Preference will be given to vendors who not only sell a product or service but can also create an 'experience' for visitors. For example - an artist creating and selling caricatures, offering entertaining product demonstrations, or involving audience participation. All activities must be family friendly, properly supervised and operated safely.
The fee is $250 plus GST for a standard set up and includes hours of operation from noon until 11 pm. The fee is $150 plus GST for non-profit organizations.
Science North will provide all on-site food and beverage services and is not accepting applications from vendors of food products.
Potential vendors should direct their interest via e-mail outlining their proposed activity to Emily Torgerson at [email protected] before May 15.
