The Sudbury Kids Injury Prevention Coalition and Sudbury Road Safety Committee, in co-operation with Safe Kids Canada, will be at different locations throughout the city with speed watch surveillance signs until June 1.

This is part of the "Safe Roads equal Safe Kids' pedestrian safety campaign.

Data collected from this campaign will be sent to the City of Greater Sudbury Traffic and Transportation section and the Greater Sudbury Police Services, where the results will be reviewed to determine which areas need to be patrolled more often.

Parents and caregivers can learn about pedestrian safety rules and receive a ballot from Greater Sudbury Libraries to win one of two family memberships to Science North. The draw ends June 13.
