Sudbury Secondary School students will be trick-or-treating in area neighbourhoods gathering non-perishable food items on Halloween evening.  Donations to the food bank will also be collected within the school the week prior to Halloween.

Students participating in the canned food drive will be wearing Halloween for Hunger buttons as they go door to door. School staff will assist in transporting the food.

"Residents who would like to make a donation should have non-perishable food items ready to give out in addition to Halloween treats," says Sudbury Secondary School Principal Paul Camillo in a news release.

Neighbourhoods being canvassed will include the south end around Armstrong Street and central Sudbury. Sudbury Secondary School students who reside in other areas of the city may also canvass their neighbourhoods.
