Rifle enthusiasts can try out their new firearms or just practice for the upcoming hunting season Sept. 6 at 9 am and 2 pm at the Sudbury Game and Fish Rifle Range.
The range is located at 4745 Raft Lake Road off Long lake Road in the city's South End. Set up for shooters will be 20, 50 and 100 yard targets, said John Honse, a member of the executive.
Participants will be allowed to bring their hunting ammunition of choice. Adequate vision and hearing protection is mandatory. Shooting will be controlled by a range officer.
