The Greater Sudbury Public Library is offering an early literacy program called Read to Grow for toddlers 19 to 36 months and their parents.

The four-week program will be held at the Main Public Library at 74 MacKenzie St. on Wednesday mornings from 10-11 a.m. beginning March 4.

"It is a group experience for babies and toddlers focusing on the importance and pleasures of reading to children right from birth and throughout the toddler years," according to a release.

"Parents will learn practical ways to take an active role in developing their child's early language and literacy skills through conversation, rhymes and reading. There will be fun things to make every week and a special gift at the end of the program."

Register by calling 673-1155, ext. 270. Enrolment is limited.
