If that's the case, you will be pleased to know that there is a place in Sudbury that can help. Hilltop 76 Woodshop, located at 1553 Weller Street in Sudbury, will turn your woodworking dreams into a reality.
Originally founded in 1988, this 1,600 square foot facility houses all the machinery necessary to build everything from clocks to furniture. You name it and it's there -  including planers, lathes, band and table saws and more.
In 2007, a generous donation from the Trillium Foundation allowed the Hilltop woodworkers to purchase a state-of-the-art dust collection system. This means a clean, healthy environment to work in.
Hilltop 76 Woodshop is a dream come true for woodworkers looking for a place to explore their inner artist during those cold winter months. The shop is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from September to June.
With plenty of experienced woodworkers on hand, even novice woodchucks can be assured of readily available assistance. An eager mentor is never far away. No need to worry about striking out on your own, this is the kind of group where everyone pitches in to help each other. Reference material and even a supply of wood are also available.
Custom orders from the public are considered, but the emphasis is on individual projects.
