Voters' choice

Tyler McVey is one of the winners of the Northern Kids Calendar Contest launched by the Credit Union in September 2009.

Tyler’s drawing of the Credit Union in Capreol won the voters’ choice from more than 500 entries and is featured on the cover of the 2010 Northern Kids and Communities Calendar.

Tyler chose to draw his local branch because it is where he opened his first bank account, which he had set up in order to save for a new bike.

School children were asked to draw depictions of northern views between Sept. 8 and Nov. 2. Three $1,000 RESP prizes were awarded. Calendars are available in all Northern Credit Union locations.
