The Canadian Hearing Society and The Lion's Club will be holding a Large Yard Sale and BBQ Fundraiser on Saturday at 1233 Paris Street (CHS/Lion's building across from the Health Unit.) 
There will be free hearing screenings from 9 a.m. until noon. A variety of items will be displayed starting at 8 a.m. followed by a BBQ starting at 11 a.m.  The community is invited to join in for face painting, an ear plug guessing contest, an open house with information pamphlets and a car wash, if weather permits.
All proceeds will go toward vital programs and services at The Canadian Hearing Society to help the culturally deaf, oral deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deaf-blind consumers.
