Up Here Urban Art & Music Festival describes itself better than we here at Sudbury.com could (plus, we’re a little lazy, so if someone else has already done the creative work, why try to upstage them?).
“Up Here is a festival for the curious, for the trailblazers, for those who aren't afraid to venture off the beaten path and discover something new. We are all curious by nature. That's why we choose to take a risk as a festival and book tons of emerging artists that most people probably haven't heard of yet.”
With that in mind, those wild and crazy guys who organize Up Here (the cool dads who helped picked the acts) put together a sampler platter, a buffet table, if you will, of the many acts hitting local stages during this year’s event.
It’s kind of like speed dating for audiophiles.
