Jean-Guy Robichaud, Cambrian College chef and Bakery and Pastry Arts program coordinator, will share gourmet barbecue recipes and grilling tips this summer on Radio-Canada (98.1 FM).

There are 75 artists at 32 galleries across Manitoulin Island ready to showcase their work during the 16th annual Manitoulin Art Tour. The tour runs July 16 to 18 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The Kimberly International Old Time Accordion Championships, held in British Columbia, were a success for Greater Sudbury's Emmanuel Gasser. The 13-year-old accordion player competed in six categories, played solo concerts and in band concerts.

The City of Greater Sudbury has received a $62,500 in funding from the province, which will be used for two cultural projects.

Perkins Restaurant and Bakery teamed up with the Northern Cancer Research Foundation (NCRF) to help raise money for the organization. Pancakes were sold between July 5 and 11 with a portion of the profit going to the NCRF.
