The Elgin Street Mission is appealing to the public in hopes they can help them restock their shelves to help the needy in Greater Sudbury.

“Good morning, the mission is need of several items at this time,” says a post on the Mission's Facebook page. “Jam, Cheese Whiz, cereal (assorted kinds), pancake syrup and pancake mix, coffee mate, butter or margarine.”

Also in short supply are lunch meats, especially canned turkey and ham.

“We are also in need of new table coverings for our dining room tables,” the post continues. “We need a 100-foot roll of vinyl table covering in a blue or grey.”
