The number of homeless people is on the rise in Greater Sudbury.
To make matters worse, COVID-19 has significantly impacted social services and the programs they provide to those in need.
The Elgin Street Mission has faced its share of challenges in light of the pandemic but that hasn't stopped the volunteers from giving their time to help feed the community's most vulnerable.
Today, with help from Desjardins, we are recognizing the efforts made by the Elgin Street Mission.
