Almost 400 people attended the second edition of the “No One Eats Alone” Christmas dinner at the Copper Cliff Italian Club on Christmas Day.

The dinner was the brainchild of Ward 2 Coun. Michael Vagnini, and hosted by the Italian Club. It's designed for those who don't have the opportunity to spend the holiday in a family setting.

“I just want to thank Marika and Mark Urso, Tom and Joyce Price, and all of the other amazing volunteers for all the great work to make it a great success,” Vagnini said on his Facebook page.

“I'm so very proud to be able to serve the people of Ward 2 and the Greater City of Sudbury. It was the best Christmas dinner ever! Thank you everyone for all the work you did!”

To add to the good news, thanks to donations to the dinner, 75 turkeys were provided to the Walden Food Bank earlier this month.
