Volunteers collected more than $700 worth of non-perishable food items and a $20 cash donation during Capreol's first annual Trick or Eat Food Drive Nov. 2.
The donations go to the community's Bread and Roses Food Bank.
“If we happened to have missed you, several merchants in town have drop off bins to collect food in anticipation for the Christmas season,” a press release said.
The Bread and Roses Food Bank is also open the third Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon, and donations can be made then. The food bank is located at Trinity United Church in Capreol.
