The Lion's Club of Chelmsford recently provided St. Gabriel Villa with a lot of “green” — $20,000 — to assist with landscaping projects at the long-term care facility.

Gloria Richer, site manager of St. Gabriel Villa, accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.

“On behalf of board members, staff, and residents, a sincere thank you is expressed to the Lion’s Club and its members, for their thoughtfulness and inspiring generosity,” St. Gabriel Villa administrator Jo-Anne Palkovits said in a media release.

“The dollars will certainly help (St. Gabriel Villa) grow.”
