Airport website takes flight with new design

The Greater Sudbury Airport launched a new website on Jan. 20.

The new site, www.flysudbury.ca, features up-to-date flight information as well as travel tips airport statistics. It was developed by mysudbury.ca.

“There is a flurry of activity unfolding at the airport,” Terra Glabb, director of business development at the Greater Sudbury Airport, stated in a press release. “We felt it was a good time to share information about our progress through all available communication channels. The site is meant to be passenger friendly, but also meant to reach out to aviation enthusiasts such as pilots.”

The Greater Sudbury Airport is currently served by Air Canada, Bearskin Airlines, Porter Airlines and Sunwing Airlines.

“Our marketing focus has been to encourage residents to consider air travel as a viable alternative to other modes of transporition,” Glabb stated. “We believe this new website is another step towards achieving this goal.”
