Several Northern Life readers reported seeing military personnel and vehicles on the city's roads Sunday.
Soldiers from the Royal Canadian Dragoons, based in Petawawa, hit Northern Ontario's roads Sunday to travel to four destinations – North Bay, Mattawa, Burwash and Ramore – for winter warfare training exercises.
Around 300 military personnel and 70 vehicles will take part in the exercises, which go until Friday, Jan. 24.
A small group from Burwash is expected to pass through Coniston Thursday on its way to CFB North Bay.
