Beat the heat, with the City of Greater Sudbury's all-ages day camps

Registration now open for camps tailored to a wide variety of ages and interests

School's out and summer is here, which means a whole lot of little ones looking for something to do with their seemingly endless energy. 

To beat the heat, the City of Greater Sudbury will once again be offering their affordable, convenient, fun and educational day camps for children of all ages.

Neighbourhood Playgrounds have day camps close to home for ages 5 to 12, which children can attend as often as they wish Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Camp Sudaca on Ramsey Lake features swimming, canoeing, hikes, archery, nature crafts, mountain biking and more, for ages 5 to 12. Each camp session is five days long and includes daily bus transportation.

Creative Arts Camp and Sports Sampler Camp for ages 6 to 12, is offered in one-week sessions. Choose from the world of visual and performing arts at Lockerby Composite School or learn the fundamentals of movement and sports skills at the James Jerome Sports Complex.

The Master of Disaster Camp for ages 9 to 12, teaches children to prepare for a variety of disasters using creative and fun problem-solving skills. The camp runs from July 22 to 26 at Lockerby Composite School.
