Work in the westbound curb lane on Brady Street in downtown Sudbury is taking a little longer than originally scheduled.

The sewer repair work was scheduled to be complete by Friday, but will now be extended until Monday morning.

The repairs have closed the west curb lane and sidewalk on Brady Street from Minto Street to the Brady Street underpass since Wednesday, April 3.

Access to the Brady Street ramp onto Elgin Street is also closed to all traffic until the work is complete. Residents can still get to the YMCA through the Elgin Street entrance.
