Police and Public Works crews have been on the scene of a broken water main in the area of Regent Street at and Hyland Drive since around 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Water has flooded Regent Street in the vicinity of the intersection, and as a result of the cold weather, has frozen over. creating difficult driving conditions.  Barricades have been set up and police have closed Regent Street between Hyland Drive and Ontario Street while Public Works continue to work on the problem. 
Drivers are asked to take an alternate route of travel. It is anticipated the roadway will be closed until around 2 p.m.
