Morry Brown has been named general manager of NetCentral. He will be responsible for the managing and marketing of NetCentral?s high-speed telecommunications network and services for businesses and organizations in Sudbury, Parry Sound, Manitoulin Island, Elliot Lake and Chapleau.
NetCentral is funded by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation and FedNor, service providers and users. Mayor Jim Gordon and Gary Polano, secretary-treasurer of Sudbury are members of the NetCentral board. The NetCentral office is located at 1760 Regent St. in the Times Square mall.
