Cancer fundraiser adds splash of colour

The Canadian Cancer Society will host its third annual Colours of Hope 5k run in Sudbury this Saturday.

Participants will be showered with various colours as they walk, run, or strut through the trails near Moonlight Beach. This is a family-friendly event promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.

Money raised through Colours of Hope will fund Canada's most promising cancer research and vital support services for cancer patients and their families.

The event starts at 9 a.m. Oct. 17 at Moonlight beach, near the beach volleyball courts.
