Residents of Capreol will no longer have to drive to Hanmer for groceries. A new Foodland grocery store will open next month in the same location, eighteen months after the previous grocery store closed its doors.
The new Foodland, owned by parent company Sobey's, will be investing $1.4 million in renovations to bring the building up to code.
The store is expected to employ up to 35 people.
