Casting call: Sudbury residents invited to appear in local film

Filming gets underway on the homegrown horror-comedy THC+ by Flickering Pictures on June 24 and Sudburians invited to get their 15 minutes of fame.

The cast and crew of the local film will be shooting at a variety of locations and will begin principal photography on June 24.

The film's producers are calling on locals to come out and participate in participating as background actors in a few scenes.

THC+'s final scene will be shot at Fuse Nightclub at 28 Elgin St. at 9:30 p.m. on June 26, and interested background actors can come out and take part in the scene. Actors must be 19-years-old or older and are asked to dress in bar attire.

A dining room and outdoor scene will be shot on June 28 at Verdicchio Ristorante and Natura Hall at 1351 Kelly Lake Rd. Call time is noon for this scene.

There will also be an open mic/bar brawl that will be filmed on June 29 at Little Montreal Bar and Grill at 182 Elgin St.
