Catholic teachers ratify contract

The Sudbury Catholic District School Board and the OECTA Sudbury Occasional Teachers ratified their collective agreement this week, the board announced Thursday.

The agreement covers the period between Sept. 1, 2014 to Aug. 31, 2017.

“We would like to thank both parties as the bargaining process was collaborative, with management and the OECTA bargaining teams maintaining effective relations while achieving a settlement that observed the principles outlined for the collective bargaining process,” the board said in a release.
