Check your freezer for these recalled seafood products

Ying Xiang Food Inc. is recalling Ying Xiang (Chinese characters only) brand frozen seafood products from the marketplace because they may contain egg which is not declared on the label.

Ying Xiang Food Inc. is recalling Ying Xiang (Chinese characters only) brand frozen seafood products from the marketplace because they may contain egg which is not declared on the label.

People with an allergy to egg should not consume the recalled products described below, said a press release from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

The following products have been sold in Ontario:

Boiled Fish Ball - 8 82230 01046 8
Boiled Squid Ball - 8 82230 01047 5
Crab Flavoured Fish Ball - 8 82230 01050 5
Shrimp Ball - 8 82230 01051 2
Spice Fish Cake - 8 82230 01049 9
Shrimp Ball - 8 82230 01051 2
Spice Fish Cake - 8 82230 01049 9
Vegetable Fish Cake - 8 82230 01045

Check to see if you have recalled products in your home. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

If you have an allergy to egg, do not consume the recalled products as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.

There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products.
