Royal Bank, M & M Meat Shop and Greater Sudbury Area Firefighters are banding together on May 15 to host the 12th annual Muscular Dystrophy Charity BBQ.

The firefighters will serve you juicy burgers, sausages and hot dogs prepared by the M & M Meat Shop staff outside the Royal Bank branch at 1720 Lasalle Blvd between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday.

Visitors can enter their name for the chance to win a free BBQ, courtesy of Royal Bank.

All proceeds from the event will go to the local Muscular Dystrophy chapter.

There is no known cure for the approximately 50,000 Canadians, often young boys, suffering from this genetic disorder, but your donations will help them live as long and pain-free as possible.
