City adds more budget information sessions

Greater Sudbury residents are invited to attend information sessions to learn about the proposed 2018 budget.

The sessions will begin with a short presentation at 6:30 p.m., however residents are encouraged to drop in anytime during the meetings to meet with staff, learn about the proposed 2018 budget and ask questions. 

Details of the sessions are as follows:

Tuesday, Nov. 14
T.M. Davies Community Centre/Arena, Lively
6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 15
Centennial Community Centre/Arena, Hanmer
6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 16
Lionel E. Lalonde Centre, Azilda
6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 23
Terry Fox Sports Complex
6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 28
Garson Arena
6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The proposed 2018 budget was presented to City Council at the Nov.7 Finance and Administration Committee, and will deliberated on Dec. 5, 6 and 7. Council is expected to approve the 2018 budget at its December 12 meeting.

Residents are encouraged to tune in or attend to become involved in this very important municipal process.
