City hosting public meeting on Capreol waterfront

Residents of Capreol are invited to attend an open house to review and comment on a draft Community Improvement Plan (CIP) for the Capreol waterfront area.

The purpose of the plan is to lay out goals and objectives in order to improve the downtown waterfront area and make it accessible for current and future residents, attract investment, support economic development and tourism and to strengthen community identity.

The open house will take place on Feb. 12 and Feb. 19 from 4-7 p.m. at the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre, 26 Bloor Street in Capreol.

Residents can also view and comment on the draft Capreol 2018 Community Improvement Plan at greatersudbury.ca/capreolcip.
