City looks for ugliest schoolyard

Greater Sudbury's regreening advisory panel VETAC (Vegetation Enhancement Technical Advisory Committee) will award a prize package “worth thousands of dollars” to help make the winning schoolyard “greener, healthier and more student friendly” according to a press release.

The deadline to enter the contest is May 5, 2011.

The ugliest schoolyard contest was started by the Canadian Biodiversity Institute and Earth Day Ottawa in 1998.
