Classic car show and mayor's birthday bash

Fleets of classic and unique automobiles filled the parking lot at New Sudbury Centre on Aug. 30 for New Sudbury Days.

Motorheads, car enthusiasts, and even some city councilors and the mayor made their way out to the show n' shine event.

Mayor Brian Bigger was the guest of honour on the day, arriving in convertible with the A&W Root Bear, who was the winner of yesterday's mascot beauty contest.

Aug. 30 marked Bigger's birthday celebration and patrons greeted him and signed an extra large birthday card.
