Collège Boréal's board appoints new president

Monique Rocheleau has been appointed president of Collège Boréal's board of governors. Rocheleau has been a senior officer with the North East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) since 2006.

Monique Rocheleau has been appointed president of Collège Boréal's board of governors.

Rocheleau has been a senior officer with the North East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) since 2006.

She has more than 25 years of experience in the health and social services field, where she has held the position of program supervisor and was in charge of the Best Start program.

She has also worked as a hospital consultant and as director general for the Timmins Family Counselling Centre.

She holds a master’s degree in social work from Laurentian University and is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Collège Boréal is expressing its appreciation to the outgoing president of its Board of Governors, Martin Michaud.

Michaud's vision and leadership were influential for the advancement of the programs and services that Collège Boréal provides to Northern and central-southwestern Ontario, the press release said.

Eva Carissimi, Mélanie Poitras, Line Villeneuve, Alphonse Ainsworth, Daniel Giroux and André Ruest have also completed their terms on the board of governors.
